Hard drive help!

I'm finished with my new build. And ive got a raptor 10,000 rpm hd, but when i go to configure the BIOS and I try to auto detect my hd there is none detected. It is SATA btw, someone please help

Have you connected BOTH cables? Can you hear/feel it spin up. Check in BIOS setup that SATA port is enabled.
