Running Vista Home premium, 2007sp2 on Compaq Presario Notebook.
Phoenix BIOS F.32
SMBIOS version 2.4

BIOS reports ATAPI CD/DVD ROM drive

Windows does not report a CD/DVD drive at all

Can anyone help?

check device manager that there are no devices with a yellow exclaimation mark.

Another pointer i wouldnt recommend putting your email at the bottom of every post as a few people on the net might start sending crap to you.
