Am running Compaq Presario V6500 Notebook
Windows Vista Home Premium 2007 sp2
PhoenixBIOS F.32
SMBIOS version 2.4
HAL 6.0.6002.18005
Internet Explorer v8.0.6001.18828 (128-bit encryption)
Mozilla Firefox v5.0

I cannot access a secure web site from either web browser. I have accessed the Microsoft support site as well as blogs and followed their advice (inc registering dlls). Nothing works. Notebook has Napster and iTunes installed (if relevant).

I have never seen this problem before. Will Windows v7 fix this?pscarrington@yahoo.co.uk

Mozilla Firefox v5.0 ? It's not even at 4.0 yet. Did you download Firefox from somewhere other than Mozilla?
