Core 2 Duo vs Quad performance in Oblivion

Quick question: does anyone know if Oblivion benefits from the two extra cores on a Q6600 vs a E6600? I know Oblivion is multithreaded and it does benefit from the jump from single core to dual core, but what of quad core?

If anyone has any links to benchmarks to show, it would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Oblivion doesn't benefit too much from dual core CPUs vs. single core CPUs.

The difference in performance between a comparable single and dual core CPU is about 10%.
