I am trying to install an OEM copy of Vista 64 onto a brand new Intel X25-M SSD, which has not been partitioned or formatted. The BIOS detects the SSD and when I go to install Windows it will let me select the SSD, but it does not say "primary" next to it like my other drives, when I click the next button to install on it, I get the error code 0x8007000d. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this would happen?

Thanks in advance.

OK, I just had to create a partition that took up the entire SDD and that solved it.

It wasn't a HDD it was an SSD, same course of action this time, but many things are different between the two...
