I have 2 computers. 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. My router is downstairs and i play games upstairs so i want the best connection for gaming.

Would it be better to use wireless or a wall plug network?

I found this wall plug: http://www.netgear.co.uk/wallplugg [...] dxb101.php

The devices you found would work well. Its been a while since I've heard any reviews on them but from what I know, they work well.

If you want the best connection, go wired or with the devices you linked to. Wireless is good but it can't be guarenteed until tried and even then it could be sporadic. When in doubt, a wire works fine.

Test the devices out and if they don't work, return them. If they do work, write a review on how well they worked for you and the pros/cons.

if gaming wired would definately be a better option, these devices also only work if they are on the same electrical phase and if they are on a different electrical phase then you won't get a connection.

My house has had a 2 room extension on it and my router is connected into one of those wall sockets. So does that mean my house wont use the same electrical connection? Would the wall plugs still work?
