Kaspersky or avast

Kaspersky, last time I checked (about 6 months ago) was light years ahead of the rest. My personal preference is still Eset's Nod32. I've been using it so long, I've got a good understanding of how it functions. And when I did some research Nod32's reporting was just barely behind Kaspersky. Kaspersky was consistently ranked number 1 in most all tests from consumer friendly reviews to reviews that were more security and tech oriented.

i have microsoft security essentials as my main antivirus with the live protection enabled. i also have avast but with live protection disabled. i use avast as a secondary antivirus and use it just for the scans wheeas mic security essentials is the live antivirus. it has been working great. both of them are freee as well
