I recently replaced my iPaq battery with a 1600ma
battery manufactured by Zukz.

When plugged into the AC, the battery charging light
blinks but never stops blinking (so never indicates
full charge). Also, when checking the battery status
in Opie, the battery is shown as empty.

At first I thought the battery was defective -- until
I switched batteries with a friend's iPaq. Here's what
happened:

His iPaq charged up my new battery just fine.
My iPaq could not charge up his battery.
When batteries were switched back, my iPaq would still
not run off the new battery, which was now fully charged.

I assume that the charging circuitry is fine or the
charging light would not blink.

cat /proc/apm gives
1.13 1.2 0x02 0x01 0x03 0xff 0% 0min
but I don't know how to intepret these numbers (except the last two, obv)

If this could be a software problem, I'm tempted to
reflash.

Any ideas?
