Ddr2 667 vs ddr2 800

Hi. im in the process of working out what i should put into my first build. im stuck on ram. Everyone goes on about ddr2 800 but is there any real performance difference for c2d system.

I wanna get the 667 but if 800 makes a big difference then ill get it. Price difference is £30.

It's normally best to figure out what FSB speed you'll be running your CPU at, then choose the RAM to at least match the throughput of the FSB.
