More about need 8800
  1. That Vista64Bit is your problem bud!
a X2 4200+ is more than enough for those games.
Of course you will see better result with your new processor but don't expect much cause you are playing at a high resolution and in that case you may not see big difference between the two processors.
Good luck and make sure you have a
  2. well i am useing a 600 watt psu and my temps never go over 62 with full load so vista 64 is bad then ? i still got my xp disk u think i should go back to xp for now back to 32 bit ?

also i let windows do my cpu drivers i have looked for them but i aint that good of software side of things i need to get some training : D
  3. There is no point in using Windows Vista64bit (at least for this year) and lots of people have lots of problems with nVIDIA's Vista64bit drivers.
So changing to Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2 would be a good idea! (it's just recommendation! )
  4. so its either crysis on vista with dx10 or every other game playing better on xp hmmmmm

i was thinking i might get like 60 FPS on 1680 x 1050 on most games with the 8800 GTS o well just drop my res i think
  5. I agree xpsp2, vista is not for us gamers not yet.
  6. Add another GTS and go SLI.
