im browsing the web or whatever then all of the sudden the moniter goes black the power light flashes, also this just started today.But i just downloaded some new updates yesterday.Could that be it.

When this happened to one of my monitors, I had to send it back to the manufacturer for warrantee.

Basically my LCD is black but the display is working because I had 2 monitors and can tell that the second one is displaying something but there's no light. They called this "Dark Video".

See if your problem sounds like this...
