Reports from COMPUTEX 2007 about prototype Flash Hard Drive like PQIs 256 GB Flash Hard Drive - possibly an improvement from previous SSD like that of Rocket Drive.

With almost no more latencies between HDD to Memory, will the use of traditional memory be still necessary with the Flash HDD around?

Yes

simply for 2 reasons, lack of bandwidth between the harddrive and cpu and also to stop the flash based drive from wearing out.
