got an acer aspire 5920g, when i bougth it the it was reading the sample disk that goes with it. now when i try to play blue ray disk it keep saying that i need to update becuase their are some critical component missing. is their any update or firmware so that ican use it again?

Apparently your unit has a HD DVD Toshiba optical drive. Not a Blue Ray capable drive. HD DVD was abandoned when the format lost to Blue Ray.
