When i use my headset, i do not get any cracking when the sound in windows is all the way at max, however when i use my speakers, i need to turn it very low (volume in windows) or it will crack. Why is that?

Either you have cheap boxes or, and that´s usually the case, the cables are suffering from interferences.
Some time back i installed a big red button and wired it to my reset pins on my mainboard. Worked like a charm. The trouble was, i used a cheap cables. If i turned up the music the magnetic field coming from the cables of my boxes induced a signal to my reset button cable. And that sucked. A lot.
