I am considering installing Windows XP Media Player 2005 on a used but reformated Windows XP hard drive? Will I encounter problems? What problems will occur? Or should I play it safe and install it to a new drive?
Any suggestions anyone? :)

You should be fine as long as you deleted the original partition and then formated the new partition, but even if you didn't delete the old partition and created a new one you can do it on the installation of the new OP/SYS.

as the AP said, it should be fine...

ps, love your sig, too true, i live in australia, a fairly regional part, houses where i live are about 200m apart and the trees generally don't let anyone see in so its ok if you wanna piss too!

Thats cool!

I have a friend that lives in a developement and the houses are only 30' apart, everyone has a 6' wooden privacy fence, but all the houses are 2 story, so privacy for them is really a joke.

Thats almost like living in a prison situation but they're used to it, at least until they visit where we live now, Ahh Paradise!
