"The architects who redeveloped the thread scheduling system for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 realized that during the Vista era, they made some design decisions in favor of simplicity, especially for developers. But that simplicity came with a performance hit, especially from processes running in multicore processors -- the more the cores, the bigger the hit." http://www.betanews.com/article/PD [...] 1258398660

What a nOOb. What are you doing on this Forum other than trying to spread FUD? Go away nOOb. You are not welcome here. I have seen your name pop up everywhere with other members posting replies to your FUD posts like , "I don't follow?", "what?". No one has a clue to what you are talking about nOOB. Please don't let the door hit you in the A** when you leave. Go back to school and learn English.

Should say the same for you. You should have learned to copy and paste your responses, two, rather than trying to share your hangups with school... and negative name calling and fud crap. If you had something to say or maybe something to add then some of your lame bs would be humorous no no just garbage and more garbage.

I posted up to discuss Fulton's topic which is 7 and the differences compared to Vista that the builders are putting in... So if that is acceptable for the subject then what are your posts, Trolling? If you have something to add to the subject fine otherwise...

Gotta love it when "journalists" need to be corrected:

What? These aren't changes to anything that was introduced with Vista. They are changes to aspects of the Windows scheduler that have been around since the first version of NT. They have nothing to do with any performance gripes common users may have had with Vista. You are committing the journalists' sin of trying to squeeze all new information into a preexisting narrative.

Of course, Vista isn't "through". Vista will enjoy the same amout of support as any other OS... 5 years mainstream and 10 years extended. XP's support was extended due to Vista being delayed. MS was on time with Windows 7, however... it wasn't "rushed" due to any real or perceived problems with Vista. MS stated back before XP's release that they were going to go with a 3 year product cycle. Vista may be taken off store shelves sooner than XP was, but again, this doesn't mean it's "through". It will be no more "through" than XP.

------------------------------ Desktop: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit; Intel Q6600 CPU; E-VGA 780i SLI motherboard; E-VGA E-GeForce 8800GT; OCZ Vista 4GB dual-channel kit; Ultra X2 750W power supply; 2 x Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500GB in RAID 0. Laptop: Acer Aspire 8730-6314;

Now that the thread has been crapped let's look at the problems causing it.
An image of a failing school kid who has taken the opportunity to vent his fears and frustrations.
A agresive bully continuing to assert himself as correct in posture and thought.
A person who has refused the basics of the educational system and is unable to withdraw,
regroup and start again.

Someone should explain to him that the system is there for him and what he has to do is
learn how to use it for his best advantage.

Most highschools have counselors and they are there/paid to help. They can short circuit
the process and help to provide a restart if the person asks for the help... I know because I have been there. :)

The bow is stunning. It matches the effect of the news 'flash' of Vista being 'through' you so eloquently (cough) referrd to upon entering the Tom's Vista forum. You truly are a clown Corky. Vista may be 'through' in your little, low IQ mind, but clown repellent sales around Tom's have peaked with you stumbling around the Forums with your FUD. Windows XP will be supported by M$ until 2016 at this point, but a nOOb who tips the IQ scale at 52 who didn't read more than one post in this forum before posting his FUD has news for the members of the Vista support forum. We have been here for more than three years you ignoramus. Die nOOb.
