Amazon Shipping to India

Best Regards to all the T-H members!  

I'm from India, and I'm trying to built my first rig under $500, but Unluckily where
I live the price is around 40% higher than what it seems in US or EU.  
So I was thinking if Shipping from Amazon/Tiger Direct is any option?
They have some components with "AmazonGlobal Eligibility a.k.a International Shipping Eligibility".

So anyone out here having any experience with their Shipments in India, Charges per shipments
(it's not very informative on their site) , Taxes while getting the product within the country
and the possible problems that may arise while doing so?
