It's nothing special.

On the 22nd, prices for most Intel and many AMD processors will drop by varying degrees to adjust with the new Intel 1333 FSB processors. We have no perfect information on the older values of these chips, but a reasonable guess would be at least a 20 USD drop, if not 40-50 USD.

I also suggest getting a better motherboard -- the GIGABYTE GA-P35C-DS3R has a much better built chipset, and will be compatible with more future Intel processors, as well as the new DDR3 standard once that becomes viable -- and power supply. Most PSUs that come with a case are of very poor manufactor.
