Hey, so I've had some problems (freezes and reboots) with a new computer and just got the motherboard replaced with a new one. I'm not sure the motherboard was causing the problems, but the store where I bought it said they tested it and found the same problems as I've described.
Anyhow, I would be very glad if someone knows of a test program that makes the computer easily freeze if something's not right.
Prime95 is a great stress tester, but may not always find all issues. It will rule out CPU heat and some RAM issues for sure. Run a mix of the tests a few times for a long period. You can also use memtest to really test out your RAM.
If you are having an issue with games, try running 3dmark.
Have you checked on the power supply? Tried different RAM?
