Hi everyone,



When I try to use my system restore it tells me my computer cannot restore at that date.....I have tried using ten dates now and the same message comes up....even though they are the pre-selected dates set by them.........I tried some of my own but that isn't working either. Any ideas?

Do you have a firewall running and a anti virus program as well?

Boot into safe mode and run the system restore. To get into safe mode, tap f8 when booting.

Thank you both! Yes I have a firewall and Norton Internet Security......and I will try Safe Mode now......BIG SMILE........maybe this will get rid of that pesky MSN Connection Center!.........Keepy your fingers and toes crossed for me.......smile....

I was thinking possibly conficker here seeing all the problems, and read the safe mode approach wont be available if conficker is there
