Don't think I've seen it posted already but it was a very interesting read. The author is a consultant in high-end computing and this report appears to have been made for an investment firm.

Don't know if you realize it but that guy is a reporter for the Inq everyones favorite rag. Interesting but rather abstract. I just find it amazing that CPUs are getting so much attention while the Iraq War is screwing up the whole world.

Yes I realize he sometimes writes for the inquirer but he also is a recognized expert in high performance computing. He writes for many different sites.

If you somewhat doubtfull of his creditentials because he writes for that rag the inquirer (wouldn't blame you), just do a little research.

I didnt see much in ther that hasent been being said on forums as well as 3rd party for 2~months now.

Except, current rumours are K10 will launch, at best 2.3ghz and Penryn @ 3.0Ghz (though I do recall seeing 2.8 tossed around somewhere). Note the use of the word "rumours"
