since installing a second monitor when i open firefox it automatically opens in the smaller monitor. anyway to stop this?

Is the 2nd monitor the primary or secondary monitor?

Most of the time, they will open on the monitor that they were closed on.

No problem. As I said above, it should come back up where it was closed last.
