Ok i know i am supposed to look through other posts to see if i can find my answer there, but it's finals week and i need my internet working ASAP. A few days ago my internet connection just went dead. My college uses a LAN system and since about Tuesday night I have not been able to connect to the campus network. So far I have tried reconfiguring, rolling back drivers, even reformating to out-of-box state. The IT center could not tell me anything so it is left up to me to figure out. I have determined it is not the cord or the jack in the wall. I am guessing it might be the jack in my computer. Sometimes when i plug the cord on the lights flash and say there is limited to no connectivity. When the lights are off it says there is a network cable unplugged. If it is indeed the port in my computer how would i go about fixing this? Thank you for any help, it is greatly appreciated!
