best headphones for around 100ish

im looking to get a new headset for about 100 or a lil i found both of these new on amazon for around that what one is better

for music and movies the best one i can recommend is the Grado SR80

Go with the Sennheiser. Thats and incredible deal for the 555's, so good in fact i'm ordering a pair for myself and returning my 515's. Unreal how good that deal is, anywhere else is selling them for 50-80 dollars more! Even shipping to canada it still is cheapest!

i dont have personal experience with either... but, for simply comparing sound quality above all else, open headphones simply sound better than closed due to a more open soundstage; the senn hd-555 will sound better than the hd-280s for that reason... the problem though is that people around you will be able to hear what youre listening to with the HD-555s, unless that doesnt bother you (or them)... and im not sure, but i think open headphones dont cancel external sound well either, being has how theyre open... either way though
