Removing link underlining in vista

All of a sudden every link, email name, shortcut, etc. is now underlined. I haven't found a way to remove that annoyance. Can anyone help? I'm running Vista 32 bit. Thanks!

it will be a setting within your mail client not vista, what mail client are you using?

Hi! Unfortunately Windows Live Mail AT THIS TIME. However, I am getting link underlining on desktop shortcuts and within all of the folders and files of Windows Explorer (Documents, etc.) Thanks for any help. Michael

Found the problem: I had previously changed a setting in Windows Explorer to be able to single click a link. However, in making that change Windows then reverts to underlining active links. Thanks for your input! Michael
