SBL! Digital (Dell) vs Onboard

Which one is better; my SoundBlaster Live! Digital (Dell) issue card that's quite a few years old, or the onboard sound for this badboy right here. Thanks for your help.

On that motherboard you have a Realtek ALC889A, similar to the more often used Realtek ALC888.
This soundcodec is a very good one, much better than the old realtek ones, and also much better than a soundblaster live.

Make sure you use the 1.71 drivers for optimal AEX 2.0 support.
