I used CCleaner to clean up my system and think one of the settings removed the commonly used programs from my start menu. Afterwards, none will populate into this section even when repeatedly using the same programs. Any idea how to get these to start coming back?

Right click on the task bar-->properties-->start menu tab-->customize-->general tab-->Is it set to allow recently used programs?

I've looked all throughout this menu. There's not an allow/disallow option, just how many programs to show. It's set at 6, but still nothing shows up.

Use Internet Explorer and go here:

scroll down to 133. Restore Most Frequently Used, it will be on the left > click on it > then click on open or run to install it > restart computer
