Bf2 patch 1.50

i have windows xp and i have to know that will the new patch 1,50 battlefield2 work on my computer? thank you

I installed the 1.50 patch and now it takes more then an hour for a map to load. Can anyone help me please? I uninstalled the patch and went back to the older version and it loads the maps in less then 2 minutes. Reinstalled the 1.50 patch and it takes forever. Help please!
