Blue screen on my new vista pc 64bit

I got a packard bell ipower i9530ncd. And i have vista on it. and the blue sreen comes up all the time. And i reboot it. And now i cant finish installationbecause of the error bluescreen. Is it a hardware failure?.

I7 cpu. 9gb ddr3 ram. 600gb storage

If the hard drive is SATA, make sure AHCI is enabled in the BIOS.

Its on AHCI. When i get to the end of reboot installation something goes wrong. and blue screen pops up. My Ipower has some storage saved. About 20gb. And maybe i think it has trouble with that. Maybe i should format the hole drive and re-install?

That 20GB is probably a recovery partition. You probably don't want to format that.

What is the error message on the BSOD?

Try it with each stick of RAM, 1 at a time.

i think its the ram that gives the problem. Sometimes it says 7gb other times 9.. I think one of them has failure. I have to bring to the shop then. Since i have my warinty on it. Because it is not the software ore OS.

No problem. Since you have an i7 triple channel setup, it should always say 9GB.
