Hello there,

I need some help with this weird issue I'm having with my laptop. Help in fixing this would be very appreciated.

I have the following small network at home:

Netgear WRG614 v6 router connected to it via Ethernet cable is my desktop PC running windows XP. I have my PS3 connected to the router via WAP-psk on a DMZ server running and connected to the router with no probs at all.
Now here's the problem, the cute laptop (about to break the thing in half) will not connect to my router via WAP/WEP or even when is an open connection without security. Funny thing is that it can connect to an open wireless point from the neighborhood.

I tried canceling the DMZ server and place my PS3 on a regular connection thinking that might have been a problem. I also changed the IP of the PS3 with no positive results.

Any suggestions/ideas on what can I do?
