I'm planning to get either an AMD X2 3600+ or an AMD X2 3800+ to be mounted on an ECS AMD690GM-M2 Mainboard with a single 1GB DDR2 800 Geil. The casing will either be a Frontier Duke O9A or a Frontier IRock IR11A.
How much overclock can be done on the AMD X2 3600+ processor alone without any change in voltage or VCore and while using just stock cooling (i.e. stock HSF, etc.)? Can you reach 50% overclock without increasing voltage and without cooling modifications, for example?
