hi,
i have an antec earthwatts ea380 (380 watts) power supply n i was wondering if that would be able 2 run a 8800gts...it has 27A total output on +12v. i dont have that much money, so if i dont have 2 upgrade my power supply that would be great...

are you planing to use that powersupply just for the cards? or to run your whole system. if you have 2psu's and that one is just for the card, then i would think it would be enough, but if thats all you have then no. if you can afford 2gts cards, then you can afford a new psu.

if you look at what nvidia says is the min. power req. for the card. its higher than what the psu puts out. you can get a psu that is 100 or less. you should really get a good psu. if your card fails then that sucks, but if your psu fails, it can take out everything. dont skimp on the psu.

You are likely to run into problems running that PSU with SLi's 8800's. Look to bigger and better things to run your system.
