how do I get rid of this error that comes up on startup?

Does it say that it can not find the file?
If so, open the Start > Run box.
Enter msconfig
Press Enter

Click on the Startup tab.
Look for any entries of hidecmd.exe.
If you find it uncheck the box next to it, then click Ok.
Reboot.
