Ok:

Im building a desktop computer:

I have a laptop that i bought used. I reinstalled XP Home (With the original CD) to remove the virus's and to start anew. So I have the OEM cd...

I'm also am getting Vista Business from a friend (who hasnt ever used it, it was sealed) he doesnt know where or even how (hehe) he got it. This is also an OEM. Have no idea if its 64 or 32 bit... It IS a legal copy too just in case you were wondering... ;a)

So:

1. CAN I install Vista onto the laptop and then afterword install the XP onto my computer that im building?

2. Or would it be better to just install the Vista on my home built...

3. How much RAM should I have for serious gaming on Vista? 2g, 4g or 8g? (8g is prolly to far out of my budget.)

1. Yes, you can. However, to my knowledge, Microsoft is not supporting XP any more.

2. Yes, that might be best.

3. I would check the game websites for their game recommended RAM.
Not all games recommend the same amount of RAM.
