I have a HDTV with HDMI(with HDCP compliance) input ports. If I purchase
a DVD player with DVI(not HDCP support) output, Could the DVD player
plays DVD movies in the HDTV by connecting them with a DVI/HDMI cable? I
don't want to use the component inputs.
Thank you!!

Yes.
You'll have to buy an adapter, or a cable that goes into both ends. Don't
buy Monster Cables.
You'll also have to connect the audio. Unlike HDMI, DVI does not transmit
audio to the receiver.

A DVI or HDMI source device without HDCP can indeed connect and work
fine with a DVI or HDMI display device that supports HDCP.
I note however that you are talking about a DVD Player with DVI output that
does not support HDCP. All DVD players that support the playback of
commercial
DVDs must support HDCP if they support a DVI output. A lawsuit was recently
filed against those producing DVD Players with DVI and no HDCP, and I am
aware of some units being withdrawn from the market.
