Why does raid check for errors everytime it starts up

why does my raid check error everytime it starts up, yhen it takes about two hours to run, the mother board and the proceeesor are new its a dual core

You've probably set it to, i suggest checking bios settings and the raid config settings, and going on a CISCO A+ course!
