I hope you can help me. Several days ago, I deleted some programs on my dell dimension 2400 (which uses windows xp), to free up some space. In the process, I may have inadvertently uninstalled my mouse driver as well, because my mouse has been frozen which makes it impossible for me to use my computer. I mean I can't click on anything including icons for programs on my desktop. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

Try booting up in Safe Mode with Network then try downloading the driver for your mouse.

Even though, your mouse isn't working, you can still use the keyboard to navigate.
