Dear friends,
I purchased my computer off NewEgg yesterday. Some of you might remember helping me, but I just realized something... my motherboard is only friendly to 1.8V RAM, but the Corsair RAM I got is rated at 1.9V. Naturally, I emailed both Corsair and Gigabyte (I got the P35C-DS3R model) to ask if it's all gravy that the wattage difference is 0.1V, and the Corsair support staff told me to go into the BIOS and change the voltage from 1.8V to 1.9V. Here's my question:
Am I safe if I stick the RAM in, then proceed to change the voltage in the BIOS? If not, what do I do?
