G'day all,

I'm probably behind the times here, but there has been a good deal of interest in the new type of LCD called Organic LCD, made from bioluminescent molecules like you would find in deep sea fish and jellyfish. Saw a demo of one on the telly, and they look quite flash - they are less than 2mm thin, have a full 179 degree viewing angle without loss of brightness, and the contrast levels are amazing. Anyone know anything else about this?

I plugged my ram into my motherboard, but unplugged it when I smelled cooked mutton.

Personally I'm a little more interested in "thin crt" thinner then lcd and cheaper to make. Not to mention having the good ol crt qualities like a fast refresh rate. Last time I looked they had prototypes over 14"
