Office with several smaller offices.
Needs a central wireless printer for usse by all smaller offices. Color and b&w, tired of buying multiple cartridges and spending more for them than the printer.

Hello SalemKroger;
Getting a workgroup printer won't change the need to buy and replace cartridges. You're always going to spend more on printer consumables (paper, ink, toner, etc) than the printers themselves.

Also, if your office PCs (laptops?) are already networked you won't necessarily need a wireless network printer.
A wireless solution adds cost to the network workgroup printer but can be handy if there are laptops in use in the offices.

What kind of printing work load does your work group generate?

HP and Lexmark are good for office laser pritners. Check on the business models and select one based on your monthly page count usage. Most color printers will come with 4 cartridges of toner, so you need to buy the stuff anyway, will just be cheaper per page than an InkJet.

Or what you might consider dude, grab a black and white laser for most printing and color inkjet if you are trying to save some costs. Also, so you know, you do not have to wireless printers. If you have an old pc sitting around somewhere that's not doing anything, you can hook your printers up to that, share them over the network, and basically allow the pc to be the print server. Might save a little cost there too.
