Vostro 1510 matshita dvd - rw uj-875s ata device

Want to upgrade driver for Matshita dvd -rw uj-875S ata device, on a Dell Vostro 1510 ... for free ... so far no sucess. Any idea ? Thanks

Isnt the driver a generic one that hasnt been upgraded? I have a Vostro 1710 that was having problems and all I found was the generic.

If youre having trouble with the device not being recognized, there is a thread from 2007 here that I cant track down right now, but it worked! you manually update the registry via regedit to delete the upper and lower filters.
