I am running Widows XP and on bootup CHKDSK automatically runs stating there is an inconsistency on the NTFS C drive other than that everything else loads fine. Can I use the HP Recovery CD to fix this and how?

start-->run-->cmd-->at the c: prompt type chkdsk /r
