I just built a new AMD machine with a fresh install of XP Pro. I installed an mpeg2 decoder I bought on Ebay (big mistake) and now WMP dies immediately upon opening any DVD. Other media players are OK. I've tried uninstalling WMP but the decoder stays. Does anybody know how to get this decoder out of my system?
