I HAVE INSTALLED A SAMSUNG DVD WRITER SH-S223L ALONG WITH NERO 8. WHEN I CLICK ON THE NERO 8 ESSENTIALS PROGRAM IT TRIES TO START UP THEN STOPS. CAN ANY ONE HELP ME?

NERO is very squirrely. I don't think this is a drive problem. I own several of the Samsung DVD writers and love them. Does the NERO you installed have a legidimate key installed with it? NERO has gotten better at recognizing pirate copies of their software lately.
