Hello ?
While attempting to load windows XP from scratch bios stopped recogniziing my two cd roms.
The whole issue started with me finding one of my hard drives. The error was 'hard drive out of operating specs'. Now that I got rid of that problem Bios sees my two CD Roms as 'Unkown Device'

First suggestion would be to pull the battery for ~ 10 minutes.
