I need to connect my Linksys router to my DSL Modem, how can I get into my prompt command and set the system up.

Check the documentation, but the default IP address probably is 192.168.1.1. Access it via the web interface. The default user name is empty and the password is admin.

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

The IP to access is 192.168.0.1, the username is admin and the password empty.

I just installed a WRT54GL and the info that I provided is correct.
