A newb is completely lost with his wireless card.

I have the Edimax ew-7128g wireless pci card.

I downloaded the driver for vista, but its not working. I go through the installation process, restart my computer, then it says "ralink wireless card not exist"

so what could be the problem?

by the way, I have vista home premium x64, 4 gigs memory, q6600 processor

Are you sure the driver supports Vista x64? It doesn't support XP x64 and just says Vista.

yeah had to download a special driver for vista 64 for my friends wireless pci card. Not something supported by the manufacturer, but i actually just googled the model and vista 64 and got links to pages showing you what to do.
