When left idle for a while my HP PSC 2355xi all-in-printer will exhibit the following symptoms
1. There will be a "dung dong" sound from the computer.
2. The "On" light on the printer will begin to flash.
3. The "!" symbol underneath the "Cancel" button with begin to flash.
4. The screen on the printer will display error:0x8809f2a0. ( An apparently useless piece of information because the IT help from India ignor the number)

If you send something to be printed while it is exhibing these symtoms the printer won't repond. If you press the flashing "On" button the printer will cycle as if it had just powered. Then it print correctly if you send a document.
