Microphone problem

I cant use my microphone, its working on other units but not my pc. in the advance volume settings, i see the mute for the microphone is active but i cant deactivate it even if i click on it, this goes also for the line one volume settings. Oh yeah I've also use the "Test hardware" for voice recording but still there's no improvement. What will I do? Thanks...
