x2-3800+8800gts or e4300+7900gs

Hi, im from canada and I will build soon a budget gaming computer for a friend and for around the same price I can get an x2-3800(89w)+8800gts or a e4300+7900gs. I know that the Intel cpu is superior but I think I will go with the 8800 gts since this is for gaming computer. The case will be Antec sonata 3 with its 500w earthpower so I am ok with the psu.

What do you guys think of that choice? Is the combo Amd 2ghz cpu and 8800 gts 320mo a bad idea ? I will be using a 22 inc monitor.

I will take 8800GTS plus AMD 3800+... I like core 2 Duo but not 4300...

I'd take the 3800 and the 8800, cause the 8800 is just that much better than the 7900, that it will outperform by farrrrrr
